Eeks is how I welcomed the Leap Year
It has made me cringe more than I have ever done before. Just the images and headlines that flood my vision are far from being a pleasant and hopeful one. I dare not ask why...I'd rather ask How come? How come we are no longer safe even at home? How come the only metropolitan city in India that assures so many young girls like me of being confident and living our dreams without any fear is displaying its demonic shades...

Or hang on was I merely ignoring what I didnt want to see of this city? Was I like so many others caught up with the pace in the city that I let that gaze pass me by....let it go unnoticed...???

Appaling. I understand not what pleasure can be derived of molesting a girl in public. Are the men so deprived in our country? Is it just in their attitude or is there more than that which meets the "naked" eye?

A mob of 70-80 men... 2 women...Does that not equal to a crime as severe as a gang rape. Should they not be flogged in public...errr....but who is the public here....??

The one that knows not how to treat and respect the 'fairer' sex...or then it maybe is the one that loves its deep silences as situations unfold in front of it...well no..I think it probably would be the best if I address directly to the moral custodians of the "culture" and "tradition" that is so inherent to our Indian Value system...Oh and just another thought...

Whatever happened to all the moral policemen...Oh I almost forgot...They'd rather pry over the intimate and personal momenst of a couple in love and proclaim their relationship "illegitimate" rather than pull their act together to try and discipline or even venture into a drunk mob of 70 men...

Though I fully agree it is apalling, I think a women's sixth sense will always warn her of danger before reacting to a lewd comment. Obviously, these women too had their share of drinks and were not in their senses. That does not however justify the action of the men. But, at the end of the day, women would need to exercise caution whether they are in Mumbai, Delhi or New York.

It is apalling...The irony to the whole story is that the Mr. Jadhav comments saying why are we blowing it up...Morons or shall we say beast...Mumbai is unsafe...

No words or condolence are gonna help this situation. I being a Girl always supported boys .......... thinking it is always girl who provoke such feeling in guys, but in this case it does not justify, these 70 - 80 guys getting into same action.
I would just like to say one thing - "NO IF NO BUT.........ONLY CUT CUT CUT!!!!!"

It is really horrifying and dirty incident in mumbai....
Watever condition the gals might be but this doesnt means that the people got right to do anything to them.......
Its really shameful that even other people supported..........
The culprits should be punished severely...
SO that any other would think twice before repeating it again...
If not then this things will grow....
